Your research must have been lacking. John Chrysostom, Origen, Jerome, and every Bible commentator until the 12th century took Junia to be a feminine name.

Anonymous may be right here. Mike, I can recommend the following German book: Ulrich Wendel; Priska, Junia & Co.

But I don't see why this would touch the question of homosexuality. Anyway, I don't want to join in the discussion since I haven't enough time.
