I recommend that you watch the movie. It is even better than Fahrenheit 9/11.

Moore tries to explain the overproportional number (even if his number comparisons are not accurate and honest) of "gun deaths" in the US, not only with the availability of weapons, but even deeper with a "prevailing mood of over-anxiety" in the US. His comparison of Canada with the US is interesting. Though Canadians also possess a lot of weapons (contrary to Europeans), there are still much less gun deaths in Canada. Moore claimed that Candians are much more relaxed, they don't even lock up their homes.

We had a horrible school massacre in the eastern German city of Erfurt that was very similar. So similar that some suggested that the shooter was "inspired" by what happened in Columbine High School. The shooter was a Neonazi (or sympathizer), his favorite movie was "Terminator" and his favorite compute game "Counterstrike." After the shooting, Germans discussed a lot whether such video games could give reasons or lower the barrier for shootings.
