Jan how old is your son.Someone told me, in America,not sure IF in all states, if a boy does not go after girls after a certain age, he is likely to support KERRY .Just kiddin.
My daughter is 6 yrs old and my son is 3 yrs. When my wife buys gold ornaments( something done traditionally by mothers in India for their daughters marriage)and worry about dowry to be paid to the boy,I keep telling her, the society will change by the time she is marriageable age, and better dont bother.
I think, our kids will be smarter than us, and will know how to take care of them, even better than us.
I think the best we can do for them is to give a good education, a good example as mom n dad,SPECIALLY GOOD EXAMPLE THRU FAMILY PRAYER( not heavy sogam type) and let them decide as they grow in Christ.
As someone told me, if w e involve/invite jesus for their wedding, u dont have to worry about wine.
