four year ago at the ripe old age of 52 i decided to get back into cycling after a 30 & year lay off bought a mountain bike full supenson rode for one month got my old hand built rode bike out liked this much better but the rear wheel had been damaged some how and as the miles went by improving my speed the ride was to uncomfortable i went looking at bikes and like found an opus andante that was the previous year model that was in my budget not wanting to put out too much money only to have a third bike hanging in the garage i know now that opus is a 5 year old company but when i bought did not know it was a new bike company i have rode over 6000 k on my bike the differance in weight betwen old new bike is not much but thats where the comparisen should end the brakes are almost as good in the wet as dry 27 gear ratios to 10 not realising i had grown old in my 30 year lay off did not know why i need so many low gears old knees need them i find the frame stiff and tranfers afair amount of vibration after a ride of 60 k your bodys sore the new andante has carbon seatstays which shoud elliminate most of this iwould recomend opus bikes iam enjoying mine a great deal if you like the look of the bike josh buy it fran
