I hope that your situation has improved and hopefully I'll be able to reply faster in future)) ((Ok, Voy is seriously evil...at least i saved my post on computer, otherwise i'd pissed)) Despite the fact that Phoenix knew there was no way out of his predicament now, it didn't stop him from struggling against the other, crimson eyes trying their damnedest to barbecue the vampire who currently held him captive. The added pressure to his elbow made him hiss a bit, but it in no way deterred him from his efforts to get free...even doomed to failure as they were. "Don't see why an apology shouldn't work, it's more than anyone else has ever gotten from me...you should actually consider yourself flattered," the tone with which this statement was delivered was loaded with contempt and sarcasm. Though there was also just a hint of how tired Phoenix was mixed in underneath it all, though hopefully Dorjan wouldn't pick up on it. He was startled by the jerk enough that it tipped him off balance a little bit, though he moved his free arm as far away from the reaching vampire as possible, hopefully keeping it from being captured. At the threat all tiredness in Phoenix vanished for a bit and he glared at Dorjan with enough heat to put the sun to shame. "I could always pay you with a one way ticket to the Afterlife...I'm sure Set and Anubis would be glad to play with you,"he growled at the other male before aiming a kick at Dorjan that would hopefully make him let go, or at least leave bruises for a bit. And, yes; when they say you don't know how bad it is until it's good is awfully true. It's wonderful now, to be honest. ^.^ Thank you for asking! Annd! I know what's been happening - finally! Voy is archiving our posts (for some unknown reason... O.o) They're still there, but they're in the archive of the board which you can access. So, yeah. Just in case that happens again... *gonna try and look into it*)) .. Even if words and intent alone could have slain a mortal, they probably wouldn't have even been enough to stagger an immortal (unfortunately). The more that Pheonix struggled, the stronger Dorjan's grip on the younger man's arm he took. At this point in the game, Dorjan wasn't too worried about any damage that the other might be subjected to; he was far too interested in his own goals. His smirk crawled ever wider, "I'd be even more flattered if you'd stop acting like the lamb the wolf's after and start being the one that was already felled." Oh, the overtones on that little bit of dialogue were almost too obvious for Dorjan to even relish minutely in them; it just wasn't worth the extra effort. He was trying to speak plainly enough for the other to follow, seeing as he obviously didn't have that large of a brain to understand that everything he was doing at this point was only futile. Dorjan almost laughed at the most recent comment, his arm still snatching after the annoyingly free arm in the process. "Anubis is nothing more than a gatekeeper, silly boy; a rather large puppy if you would. He likes to play fetch for Osiris and that's about it. Threats of that nature don't go far enough when I've already got the hounds of hell under my control." The kick the vampire simply stood through, growling a little in simple annoyance. It hurt, but not so much for him to release the other without purpose. The only thing that the kick achieved in other sense was a startling increase in the pressure on the arm that was in the vampire's grasp. At this rate, things would be broken for certain if Pheonix kept this up. .. .. dubbed ..
