Even as she started circling in a certain direction, she could feel her wings getting more and more weary. Not exhausted, just like if a person who hadn't gone to the gym in awhile went and worked out for an hour. Gazing over her shoulder, she watched to make sure he was following her before heading in the direction of their clearing. Within moments she was coming in for a landing, gazing around. She had been there earlier but hadn't really noticed that it had gotten a bit overgrown in their absence until now. Need to do some cleaning up around here, it got a little overgrown since we have been gone. I guess a lot can happen in eight months. With a huff, she started nosing at the fallen trees in the north corner, pushing them back into the woods where they belonged. You know, we should really go see Heather and Nathan soon. We haven't even seen in the whelps in I don't know how long. I bet they have gotten huge. Have you heard if they are shifting yet? Using her tails, she pushed back some of the overgrown bushes. If she was more confident in her skills she would have tried to burn them out but with her luck she would start a forest fire and destroy her favorite place in the world. Cocking her head, she paused for a moment to try and listen to Durgan but it seemed like it was all pretty quiet. Besides, if the whelps were causing to much destruction she was sure her brother in law would call for them. It does feel nice to get out of the keep for awhile...I know the place is huge but when you have been in there for months...it starts to feel pretty darn cramped.
