His smirk faded and he was setting the egg aside and striding towards her before he could think about anything else.) Get them away from the windows. (He said sternly, even as Jasha was at his feet, growling, his little spikes sticking out and his scales ruffled.) Nay, wee one, ye must take yer Mam and brothers and go into the other room. (He reached out in his mind, searching for Durgan. Intruders on the eastern side, meet me in the air. He said as he put himself between Bree and the window. He looked over his shoulder at her.) Until we ken why they are here, I ask that ye remain hidden.. go to Evie and remain with her, keep the bairns safe. (With that, he kissed her cheek and headed out onto the balcony, jumping from the ledge and shifting in midair, the massive red soaring into the sky, a roar of warning issuing from his throat. The intruders would know that he was Laird, by the way he circled his keep in slow circles, and the way his soldiers assembled on the ramparts below, ready to fly into action should he need them. When the intruders didn't leave, he let out an agitated roar, issuing fire far into the distance in a show of strength, before tucking in his wings and speeding towards them. He only tipped his wings to slow when he was within speaking distance.) Turn back, or state yer purpose! (He yelled the words over distance, wings strianing to slow his immense size. He came to a stop and hovered, flapping his wings, claws and spikes extended.)
