(She'd taken a seat on one of the window sills as he tidied up his mess, her hands braced on the stone by her sides and her feet dangling - bare as usual. There was rarely a moment in the day when she wasn't barefoot somewhere. Her eyes were soft on Kaden as she took in the sight of him starting to calm down and rationalize the situation.. but something in her chest turned over when he turned his dark eyes on her. He had such expressive eyes, eyes that she could read without even realizing it. She sighed at his words, and smiled reassuringly.) He kens he did ye wrong, Kaden.. he said so. He was under the truemate's bond, and had just come back from being taken. (She tipped her head the other way, finally starting to see the other side of things.) We dinnae ken what was done to him while he was gone either.. he was probably feeling a bit inadequate. (Since when had she become such a philosopher? She smiled as he came over to her, raising her hands to him so that he could hug her.. but when he merely leaned down to kiss her she felt butterflies in her belly.) Thats what friends are for, aye? (She murmured softly, her voice a bit breathier than usual. She raised her arms again to him, looking a little mischevious.) Gimme a ride downstairs? (She wanted a piggy back, and her friend was growing stronger and stronger by the moment.. surely she was no weight to him now. She was downright grinning up at him as he stood before her, thinking about how she had attacked Dane.) I kinda lost control of meself there, didn' I.. (She swiped a playful hand like it was her drakons claw, hissing in a teasing manner.) I dinnae think he really noticed though.. he didnae even try to stop me. (She shrugged, looking down at her hands. She had bruised knuckles and a few cracked fingernails.. but she didnt mind. She wasn't a whiner. She did, however, perk up at the thought of a good soak in the tub.) I might have to borrow yer good lass.. a nice rubdown sounds like heaven to me right now.
