Subject: Eh, nice to ee the forum back on track!

I should really begin to visit more often...which I know I've been saying for the past few months, but seriously ^^;; So I bring you kindy stories, cos that's all I've got hahaha.

I guess everyone pretty much knows where I'm at at the moment. I just finished my 3 week placement last week, which was 3 weeks of sometimes hell since my supervisor and the 4-year-old's teaching assistant were total witches. And the clone art work still got to me every single day >< But the 3-year-olds were loads of fun, more challenging and a lot more engagin personalities, I really loved them. I guess I also felt they needed me more as well, because the teachers were often preoccupied with these 2-3 kids with serious development issues and I pretty much had the run of the rest of the kids mwahahaha...actually, that was pretty sad because there were kids I had to look after who obviously were having problems but the teachers didn't have the time to pay them proper attention. Like there was this one boy called Milan who was being seriously bullied...one day during outdoor play time some kids actually pushed him to the ground and started kicking him. I was so shocked, I mean, these are 3-year-olds - especially as the teachers didn't notice and I was left to deal with it. I was *this* close to taking the other kids and shaking them (and the teachers >.>). But when he grows up he's gonna be better looking than the lot of them and they can go suck it >.>

There was this other boy called Vas who also was having obvious problems, especially with anger management. I ended up spending a lot of time with him, just playing with him quietly so that he would stay calm. One day when it was outdoor time he did his usual "KAREN CAN YOU HELP ME DIG A HOLE!" (yeah, more of a statement than a question XD;;), and we were digging when he starts talking to himself, saying "SHUT UP!" over and over again. He wasn't bothering the other children, and I explanined to them we don't use that language in kinder, but left him to it because he was actually doing some practical work and was working with other kids, which hardly ever happens because he's so tempermental. Then I leave for two seconds (to help poor Milan T_T) and one of the teachers comes round and tells Vas he has to stop it or get out of the sandpit. I was so pissed. For the rest of the day Vas was storming around and being a tyrant. Funnily enough, when his dad came to pick him up the first thing Vas did was run up to greet him and yell a very happy "SHUT UP!!". When it was my last day Vas came up to me and gave me the biggest hug...practically strangled me (to the point where I had to actually say "Vas, you're kinda strangling me" XD;;)...it was really sad because he was so pouty....T_T I'm really worried about these two boys, because I know they won't get the attention they need =\

And that's my rant hahaha...I will be more active in the forum, I swear ^^;
