It's so sad when things get steamrollered for new buildings. I know it's a good thing to have better education and facilities and stuff, but it's still sad.

At the moment the Menzies Building (some of you guys know it, the one we took you to the top of!) is getting a face lift. Like a year-long oops-it's-taking-longer-than-expected kind of face lift. New paint, new "facade". Why, you ask, do they not just tear down that hideous monstrosity that has been the home of so many suicides and murders over the years???? Because it's heritage listed! HA HA HA! What a joke...
