Subject: The Barn

This was a great book! it tells about a young, 8 year old boy living up with his older sister and older brother. His mother died a long time ago, before he was born.One day he finds out that his dad has been struck with a terrible disease. I forgot the name of it but i think that the disease is named palsy. Anyway, palsy disfunctions your body. It disables you from having control over your muscles. So he decides he should take care of his father and his brother and sister should do the farming (his dad promised to build a new barn before the disease struck). He has to clean, feed, talk to, and fulfill his and his fathers dream about a brand new barn. He finds out that his dad can say yes by blinking his eyes so he finds out alot more about his dad. I am not going to give away this book, but i will say that it has a slightly sad, but mostly happy ending.
