Subject: The Castaways of the Flying Dutchman

The Castaways of the Flying Dutchman was an exciting book that was so good I could go for hours without putting it down. It was about a boy named Neb and his dog Den(they later changeed their names to Ben and Ned. On one stormy night, Ben was thrown into the ocean by his bullying brothers and was hauled up onto the deck of the Flying Dutchman, with the captain Vanderdecken. Ben stayed on the boat through abuse and hard work. On one of Ben's journeys, he found a dog and named it Den. Den stayed with him and protected him from the evil crew of the Flying Dutchman. One time as the Flying Dutchman tried to round Cape Horn to deliver some jewels, the crew was cursed to sail for all eternity. Ben was cursed too, but was innocent and was able to go to land, but he had to help all villages or people in need of help.
