"What's this now, playing around with my pride and dignity eh?" he says quietly, with a faint smirk gracing his lips. He didn't quite trust this boy, not yet, as was per usual when he met strangers. But the ideas presented to him - adventure, challenge - were intriguing. He didn't, however, miss the wicked show that had screened on the face of the other and knew that it was a tidbit, a sliver of foreshadowing for potential danger. "Fine, I'll follow you, on one condition." Pausing for the moment, he weighed up the pros and cons. "I get to leave whenever the Hell I feel like it."
