Hi everyone...just popped in to see what's new around town. I am living in Tamarac w/my fiance (2nd marriage in March of 2003)and working as a health insurance administrative assistant (in other words, I do all the leg-work, the agent gets all the credit) in Hollywood. I wasn't the most popular or most outgoing, but I can't wait to see everyone in August! I have been back to Piper as a substitute (over 2 yrs ago) and it is MUCH different now than it was when we were there. I heard that Mr. Gillen died (of AIDS?) and am trying to find out more information on that. Has anyone seen Jon Levine's pictures at www.jonlevine.com? He looks amazing -- I think he gets the vote for "Most Changed Appearance"! Well, I hope to hear from someone from the 89-92 years at Piper...take care!

Hello there Class of '92!

Bengals, we're getting close to reunion time. You've probably received an email about it. If not, it's Aug. 17 at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale.

David Parente from our class has offered and has been doing a lot of the legwork for the reunion, but I want you to know that I'm working on getting the price to be more reasonable. Years ago, we set aside money for a reunion account. I am going to the bank tomorrow to close out that account and pass along the money to the reunion company we're using. We're hoping that will take the sting out of the price.

As we get closer to time, we'll be needing some people to serve on a reunion committee. David and I have already done the majority of the work, so he or I can fill you in later on what they will entail. Feel free to email him at dparen@aol.com or me at jodien05@yahoo.com

Jenn I actually pity you. Y? Because you judge people you don't even know. By the way let me introduce myself, my name is Holly and I consider myself to be one of Anthony's best friends (I've known him for like 10 years). Anywayz, Anthony is probably one of the most sweetest, considerate, and outgoing guys you will ever meet. Whoever told you that stuff is a definite lie, or may be blown out of proportion more than you know. (Don't most cute guys pretend to be players to fit in?) Anywayz being so that he has these many desirable qualities, he is already commited to a relationship and has a girlfriend. The only reason I'm actually responding to this, is because the last thing I want is to hear totally false and irrelevant rumors around school about one of Piper's finest. Well I was class of 2001. And I must say Piper High school was off the chain until until Dr. whats her name again ummmmm yea Dr. Ward came. Everything was going quiet dandy until she came, she stopped everything we had goin on at Piper, that included the pep rallies, the assembles, the talent shows, everything. And the reason for this was because she was trying to punish us, because we had a couple of bad kids in school. What school are u going to find that all the student are well behaved **thinking** NONE! That was no reason to stop all that school activity. The special activities we had going on before DR. Ward came along kept kids off the street that had nothing to do (LIKE ME). Now Piper High school looks like a state prison. I don't know what yall are doing over there but I am glad I was otta ther before she turned it into a prison. Well I wish the upcoming class all the best, class of 2002,2003,2004 handle ur bizzness and hang in there.

Hey Julia, I just want to tell u that I hapen to agree and disagree. I am in the c/o 2003 and it has been great. Yes Dr. Forehead can be a mean person and go and take pep rallies and all that stuff when she did but she gave that all back. We have pep rallies before games and have fashion shows and musicals and a bunch of other stuff. So even though there will be alot of ppl who don't like Dr. Ward, she has done stupid things to make Piper a better place.

Call the school, ask to get transfered tot he yearbook room and see if they have extras. I know they keep copies of every year but check and maybe they can send it to u or u can buy it. I know this because I am on the yearbook staff.

they don't have back to school dances or valentine dances they don't have pep rallies the don't have senior assemblies those coming from the north should now what I'm talking about they don't have any type of assemlies just the ones to tell you that u need to pay your dues if u want to graduate. what memory are they leaving me nothing

I went to Piper HIgh School and graduated in 99. as for there not being any amenities as you say, those were all taken away because of kids that dont know how to appriciate a good time. the last pep rally they had was in my freshman year and they all got canceled because of stupid kids doing stupid things. so the next time you decide to do something foolish or one of your friends do remember that that is the sole reason for things being the way they are!

Hi Jerry, I am Ryan's sister. I can give you the true and accurate story of what has tragically happened to my brother and our family. On Novemeber 9, 2000, Ryan passed away in his sleep. This was such a shock and completely unexpected. He was in great health, except that he had had a bad cold/flu. Everyone, including the medical examiners, were totally baffled. They couldnt seem to find anything wrong with him, but 23 year olds don't usually die of natural causes. After 3 months of not knowing what happened, we finally found out that he passed away from pneumonia. He has been sick, but we just didn't know how bad it was. Theres another girl from Piper I met up here, she graduated a few years before me.. I think 1988.

Hi Guys. I am from the current Piper high school yearbook staff, and i know that we have many yearbooks from previous years. It would be a good idea to call the school and ask for the yearbook department. Im not sure exactly what years we have and how many but we do have some, so be sure to call Piper . Ms. Leassig is the advisor, so when calling just ask for her, and they will transfer you to the room. I will be able to help you once you call, seing that i am the business advisor of the book. Well I got an e-mail that a Piper High site went up so I figured I would check it out but there doesn't seem to be anyone here so I will chime in: This is Michael Bigansky (Blackout on WKPX.. the old No Class shows with Geekhead) although I changed my name to Michael Biggins, I am still acting and singing and continuing on with the Blackout's Box material that I started oh so long ago. I am in the process of shooting some short films and the pilot for my TV show. I even have some of the old bits that I first recorded at WKPX in studio B such as the Rooksnitzien Society, except now with computers and digital equipment, I have my own studio so I don't need to hang around studio B anymore. Grin.

Come check out the old and new stuff at http://www.blackout.com and you will be sure to have some laughs. I have 3 comedy CDs out, and host a national show called Power Play that is shot here in Florida. I am saving up to make the big trek to California and get into the acting/singing film making game for real.

That's the report on me.. if anyone I knew from 88 to 92 drops by, send me an e-mail! I did speak to Tod Durkin and Greg Weiner briefly. They are lovers and drug dealears in New York. Just kidding, they are actually doing a lot of theater from what I heard when I last spoke to them, and I know I have seen Tod in some TV stuff.

the old wkpx days? gee i need a life to be finding things like this on the internet. if anyone actually reads this, i am wondering if there happens to be any way possible to get an old demo kpx used to play of a local band from 1993 called "heather's heart". their popular song was "angst"... hmm even more so than someone else's song, but i'm not gonna get into that. also, if anyone has heard of them... i'm looking to get in contact with wade. he did some work with them and also with "chunks of real meat" with ron ferraro aka SWORDMAN (iiieeeee!!!!)also he did lights @ the plus 5 for mr. warner's band.

I see that thingshave changed here a lotover the past few months. Well things are changing all over it seems. I am still working for Disney. I am currently inolved with the Educational Department where I am a coordinator ofr all f the guet Programming we handle. The reunion is scheduled for August 11th at the Embassy Suites on the 17th street Causeway (I think that's the hotel). I sent in the stuff back in January and haven't recieved anything further from it. Reunionmakers.com was responsible for it, so you may be able to get some info from their website. How are you? Well, a form got mailed to my parent's house (yes, they're still in the same house) that asked questions about what we wanted to do for our reunion. It just asked what time of year we wanted it, any suggestions, etc. It mentioned they were planning a dinner-dance (flashback to Bair Middle days), but that was about it. I attended Piper as a freshman in the '93-'94 school year, then I moved back home. If anyone remembers me, it would be great to hear from you again. I miss all the people I met at Piper, and wish I could have stayed longer.

I have a 12-year old son who is A.D.H.D. and has learning disabilities. I am looking for someone to be a homework buddy 3 evenings a week for an hour until school ends; then someone to spend from 12:00 - 4:30 with him in my home Monday thru Friday doing arts and crafts, tutoring, and just hanging out. I just graduated from UCF, and am starting grad school there in May. You made a great choice. But why are you searching for a roomate? Boardwalk apts. are on individual leases so even if no else rents a room your b/f can still live there. Besides, they place you in an apt. with other students, so there is no need to worry.

Hi everyone...Does anyone have any information about our reunion??? I hope everyone is doing well. Believe it or not, I am almost done with Law School (May) and I am teaching street law 2 days a week at Piper for class credit. Things sure have changed.

I hope by now everyone knows about the 20-year reunion being planned for the Class of 1981. It will be the weekend of June 15-16th and we are gearing up for an amazing time! Get all of the details on www.reunited.com. When you think about it, whether you liked high school or didn't, you can't deny that it was an incredibly important time in our lives. It paved the way for where we are today and who we are today. I missed our ten year reunion and still regret it. Being a member of the class and part of the company responsible for the planning, I will do everything possible to make sure that ours is a very special weekend. But, I can't do it alone. Our graduates are what makes us special and unique. Please make the commitment to be there! Can't wait to see you and hear about your lives since Piper!

just what are the deatils?? everytime I check for details it just says party, date, pay

what will happen? are we having fun, a forum for better education? a conference to make teaching a higher paid job? or are we going to sit at assigned tables and give away champagne bottles like we did at the 10 year reunion and make small talk and take pictures?
