Subject: My first badger

I have a case skinned badger. I am looking for any advice on him so I don't have too many surprises.

The first thing that stands out to me is the "musk". I am guessing that these critters have scent glands. I didn't look close enough to see if the guy that skinned it removed them or not.

Second is the ears. They are pretty tight to the head. I am guessing that bondo would probably be the best approach for them.

Third...I have always DP'd the smaller mammals that I have done (not many).....but I'm thinking of cream tanning this guy. Any reason why I shouldn't????

Thanks,
Scott
