Have you used the Krowtann on deer? Just curious. I usually salt, pickle with Saf-t acid, and tan with EZ100. I have the McKenzie brush on tan but have been too chicken to try it.

Does the tide wash the tan out? I have never done a bear, but I hear they are a pain because they are so greasy. I was told to just send it to the tannery because they can get the fat out better. sounds like yours came out ok, eh?
