sometimes,
the effort put forth don't always equal up when you settle the score
the price you pay in strife and pain to gain life sparks desire for death even more
shook up lookin for love to steady your core, hand shaking, sweating in fear
wich leads to frustration, then aggression, to drownin your regrets in a beer
a cycle of death and rebirth I've been through every year since you left me
empty, tempted to set free my envy, instead you manifest in my wet dreams
too bad I let each bend my mental till nightmarish faces flash grins of garish complection
and your profile becomes an errent reflection of my own inherent deception
a mirror image I can't bear to let live so I strike and shatter it's face with a fist
only to find in it's place there you sit, broken by my hand, it's making me sick!
I awake in a fit of anguish feeling like I've betrayed you again
I pray for the days when I'd drift before these chains existed and I didn't have to strain in their grip
and I can still remember the taste of your lips......
