    • I lost by half a car. He had 3.73 gears and hypertech chip Automatic. I started off good about half to 3/4 throttle then when I saw he was gaining on me I went wot I spun alot but moved to about a car ahead but after he went to 2nd he got a good jump on me and by the end of 3rd he was ahead by half a car. oh well, he said he wasn't happy with the conditions , he wants to race again when I get a decent pair of tires. what do you think ? vs cam or 1.9 rockers. Oh and before i forget there is a guy here in bville getting a stage 2 I/C installed , saw it today. • Hey actually was a good turnout , good to have finally met you guys (pete and andy) in person. Sorry didn't hang out that much I kind of went crazy trying to shoot for a better time. Haven't got the car scanned yet but hopefully this week. Basically what happened was the pump on the IC went out ( or the ground at least) so the IC wasn't working for about 1 week and some days , Finally realized it that same day I went to the track just hours before, now I don't know how much of this is true but some one said that the PCM takes timing away faster a than it gives it back , so I guess my car was suffering from some sort of post K/R syndrome , hehe.           • ok good question maybe you can help. Im not sure what cam it is but he bought it off the gp store, it is .512 in and .528 out. He did buy the PCM but not the custom, and he says he doesn't believe in it but I think he has severe k/r but hes not willing to scan the car. he does have the autolite 104 though. raced a lightning last night. did pretty well (NT) -- Ozzy, 21:38:50 02/21/05 Mon
            • Mhhh...If your pulling on him on top then yes he has some serious Kr. Doesnt matter if he "believes" or not he should scan. He will never know whats wrong with his car TILL he scans. Yeah he needs a custom pcm so he can get the most out of the cam(with higher shift points). The whole "modding" thing needs to be done with a scanner so you can see how much kr youve lowered or how your 02s are and etc. Ozzy go ahead and tell him to call Fernando so he can scan his car.             • Well Fernando has a scanner and rgvbeast has a scanner. Just let one of them know you want to scan and they will help you out.                 • Yeah, I remmember he told me about that night. He said he ran crappy and that he had met some guys that have a really fast gp. He said that the guy said he had jsut bought another car. cool. Since then he has added a 3.5 pulley and underdrive pulleys. Ran real good but never had a chance to take the car to the track because his transmission messed up only 1st and 2nd worked. he got frustrated and took the car to the track and ran the crap out of it so he had to fix the transmisson.                   • Hey Ozzy why have someone do the i/c install. Its real easy and would save you money. It will also give u a chance to get to know the components on the car. Besides it defeats the purpose of modding your car if you cant do it yourself. Its a hell of fun knowing you put the mods yourself.                       • Well Originally I thought of doing it myself, but after a week and not enough time off from work to do the entire thing, I began to get anxious!! plus the guy doing it already did it to his car and has a pretty good resume ; ) He drives the electron blue fiero running 11's at 22 psi's he s from here ( bville)anywho my next day off is friday which is when i should have the car back, but don't get me wrong i did install my cross-drilled slotted rotors, my eibach pro kit , my kyb gr2 shocks, my stereo , 2 amps, pre-amp, subs, components , digital boost gauge, my very essential knock gauge, underbody neons, gauge pod, pcm, filter and everything else my car has that's upgraded with the exception of the 3.4 which Fernando gladly helped me do .           • Fernando and Frank wont go to the track till they get their mods that will get them to the low 13s high 12s. Besides they need drag radials.They got too much power. They both are the powerhouses of b-town. Ive got the strongest gtp in the valley but have yet to take it to the track. Something always comes up or the car will start to act up.
