In reply to: Libbie 's message, "*Plunks down a bottle o'Alberta Premium*" on Tue, Aug 14 2001, 9:31:15

I was in the middle of a great dream when I was roused by the simultaneous screams of both Libbie and Syd... skeer the shit outta each other, they do!

Syd, btw, has expanded her vocabulary somewhat... "OMFG, she's back, and she's dressed like the Michelin Man! BWWWAAAAACCCCKKKKKK!!" Libs, on he other hand, is prattling on about thermoses or something or other. (I just didn't have the heart to tell her we refer to 'em as thermoose (singular) and thermeese (plural). She's Saskwatchean, y'know... She faces enough challenges as it is.)

After getting the story out of her and finding out she's adopted 90 Japanese tourists, I'm happy to provide her with the required goodies from my pantry and get her on her merry little way. So long as she keeps 'em long enough that they're not gonna check into my hotel whilst I'm on duty tonight, I'd do damned near anything for that girl!

Ahhhh, silence. I crawl back to the sofa and plunk down, hoping to get back into the dream... what was it about again? DAMN! It's fading already... something about grizzlies? No. Maybe it was about hound being chased by a grizzly. No, that's good but it's not quite right either. DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!! I sigh and get back off the sofa, heading for the kitchen for a cuppa tea. (It's a "Libs own recipe", btw.) If nothing else, I can at least settle down to a nice hallucination or two before I start my day...
