The older I get, the more I like vintage. It brings me back to a time of memories that give me "warm fuzzies". Although I have the grandchildren hanging off my hips now, it's the time I spent raising their moms and having routines and making sure my home was inviting and warm that makes my life so rewarding today. The time I spent being raised by my mom and learning how to cook and clean and play brings back memories I love to remember. It's all of these memories that allow me to use my imagination when I pick up something vintage and put somebody else's memory to it. Don't you just love doing that? Like an old tea towel for instance. I can just imagine a mom and daughter doing dishes together while the mom dispenses some good old fashioned advice that is time worn and wonderful. I'm smiling right now. Thanks for making me smile.
