Subject: His kiss made her sigh deeply and instead of returning it or smiling she just closed her eyes again. When he came back in with the food she sat up, finally offering him a slight smile. "Thanks..." She stated softly, running a hand through her hair before she took a bit of her salad and then sighed deeply. She felt like they were letting Jesse go so that she could have one last time at home and it hurt so bad she could hardly breathe, much less swallow her food. She bit her lip a little, trying to keep the tears from falling down her cheeks, instead just holding them barely back. Clearing her throat she looked down, busying herself with pushing around the food on her plate.

  • he watched her from the corner of his eye as he himself tried to forse the food down, almost choking on it as he struggled to swallow. He felt exactly the same as she did - he could see it in the doctors eyes when she told them they could take Jessie home for the night , with that sad sympathetic smile. He'd tried hard not to let the tears spill- trying to be strong and hopeful for his daughter and her mother, but Jessie had caught him crying at her bedside once or twice- it made him feel so guilty. "We can't just carry on like this Ash... Jessie knows theres something wrong...we need to make this time more possitive...no matter the outcome." (NT) -- Marc, 14:14:19 04/04/06 Tue
