I know that most of the people on the yahoo group that I moderate http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Frenulumtying/message/8 (it's very quiet lol) avoid going too deep because of being cautious, not to mention nervous of the procedure.

My first tying (ligation) was practically meaningless but it was enough to allow an easier 2nd tying. After two tyings I am in a better position (o.O) I did another but the ligated ends kept rejoining leaving a white ulcer like wound as the join. It goes eventually as this is blood starved tissue via the ligation (think blocked train tunnel, nothing goes through)

There is never any loss of sensation, but it gets better.

If you are going to do it, be warned, if you have an issue, you will have two choices.........go to a doctor or hope things won't get worse.

Plenty of reading first will allow you to be informed to make your own choice. Simple things like EMLA cream, pre-sterilising solutions and vaseline etc to put on the wound (to stop it drying, getting infected) will help you a lot.

You will most likely need 2 tyings though...... and it helps to be a bit flexible and have good eyesight....seriously.

Unless of course, a partner helps you.....but not many are brave enough for that even though they share major intimacy with their partners o.O

Also, I follow the help of the 2 experts on skin stretching (any skin can be stretched, but its slow, like very slow, but hey no scars.........)

http://www.network54.com/Forum/244184/
Expect to take about 6 weeks of stretching every day(the frenulum) it will work without scars but you have to wait and EXCEED the stretch point that you want AS when you stop stretching, a certain shrinkage will occur.
NOTE also, there is obviously a good chance that if you have a shortish frenulum, then you may have a tight foreskin end itself which can be stretched also, simply by using 2 fingers. plenty of choices lol.......

Sweeney's pretty unexciting signature. Here to TRY to help the similarly afflicted and others' who are unaware of their issue.
Let's crack this and stop circumcision and stop the sale of foreskin's to make skin graft starter's. QUOTE One foreskin can
yield enough cells to make four acres of
grafting material END
