Subject: THANK YOU

Hello R.S.
I just stumbled upon your writings on foreskins
etc and wanted to establish some sort of contact with you.
I wasn't quite sure where to plug in, so I decided to write
here and tell you that I appreciate your research and your
sharing of it with all of us and to offer myself as a
resource if I can be of use.

I was born in Illinois, USA in 1958 which was at a time
when practically all boys were routinely circumcised here.
My parents fought fiercely for the foreskins of their three
sons because they believed that it was the owner of each
foreskin who should decide if it was wanted or not. We
were encouraged to make sure our foreskins would retract
until I got tired and embarrassed of hearing about it. I
also remember that when my little brother was born my
mother kept his knob greased with baby oil, so I must
assume the rest of us received the same treatment.

While it was unsettling growing up different from other
kids, I have always enjoyed playing with my foreskin both
for non-sexual soothing purposes as well as masturbatory
ones, so I am glad it was not cut off. Over the years I
have observed all the other foreskin bearers I have come
across, and it seems that the retention of what I call the
"spout," that part of the foreskin that extends beyond the
knob, is somewhat rare in adults. It was this spout that
sort of embarrassed me and for awhile I had thought to get
it trimmed.

Then in 1992 I first experienced a nude beach in Spain.
There I observed people of all sorts including a teenage
boy who had a spout nearly an inch long! He was walking
along with two of his mates and seemed utterly unconcerned
about anything other than enjoying the day.

I realized then that I was well within the norm of
acceptability. Anyway, when retracted in an erect state,
my spout does form a whitish ring which does cause my shaft
to have a sort of hourglass appearance. This has never
caused the least bit of discomfort however. The chief
advantage of this situation is that it allows me to chose
if I wish to spend the day or week with my knob covered or
bare, depending upon my mood. It's like the best of both
the cut and the uncut world I think. A snug-fitting hood
is also good when stroking the thing.

In 1993 I made friends with a young man from England, and
over the course of the years we became comfortable enough
with each other that I could ask him about his foreskin.
His penis was virtually identical to mine, long spout and
all, but the difference was that his spout was quite a bit
more elastic than mine. Despite the baby oil, one of my
brothers elected to be circumcised shortly before puberty
due to tightness of the foreskin. He received a very
slight cutting so that half of his knob was covered when
flaccid. My other brother kept his foreskin in spite of the
fact that he had some adhesions by puberty. He told me
later that he rather matter-of-factly jacked off hard a few
times and got rid of them all. End of problem. He has
lost the long spout as an adult, and his foreskin will not
stay retracted when in a flaccid state as mine does.
I'm glad there is finally an audience for this subject
after decades of silence. I would be happy to communicate
with anybody about this subject if I can be helpful. If
you have any questions that I can answer based on my
personal anatomy or my observations over the years, please
feel free to contact me.

Thanks again for your interest in
the subject, and keep up the good work.

JJ
