Subject: Frenulum Tying Procedure

After doing some research and talking to 2 clueless urologists, I've decided to take matters in my own hands and tie off my frenulum. :-)

I've been surprised that there are no pictures of the process online that I can find! (other than post-recovery, which don't help with the process)I'll take some pics and if I live, will post them here and/or the male-initiation site.

The big question is just where to pit the stitch- specifically if the frenulum artery (vein) should be inside the stitch or outside the stitch. If the stitch is outside the vein, there's not a lot of skin there so there's not a lot to be gained by the procedure. So I'm thinking as close to the head/shaft as possible?

On the other hand, it seems a substantial vessel to be tied off and I'm concerned by the loss of circulation and the stagnated blood. Should this be a problem, or is there enough alternate blood vessels to make up for the loss?

Another question is whether one should do more than one stitch at a time?

Thanks,

-d
