The stitch made a world of difference. However, the band of skin that is still remaining (can't think of a good way to say it) is still short as it was restricted by the tight frenulum so I think that could use a little stretching.

And there's a thin strip of the frenulun that's left- it'll either need tightening or another stitch. If you saw the 'before' photos, it was hard to get a good placement of the needle due to the frenulum- when I pulled the foreskin back, it tucked the head over the area that needed the stitch and the loose skin was close to the shaft. So I needed four hands:

1- hold the foreskin back
2- pull the frenulum away from the shaft
3- pull the head up to access the spot below it
4- inserting the needle

Oh and don't forget the camera! :-)

Actually on the full video, there's several minutes of me trying to figure out how to do this all with 2 hands. Net result is I couldn't place the needle as close to the shaft as I'd have liked. And to be honest, I was a little conservative about getting too close to the shaft & head. I actually did prick the head (pardon the pun) with the needle when I was jockeying for position. The head bleeds easily!

I'll try to get some more pics up this weekend after things settle down.

For the moment, I'm using hydrocortisone which does the same but apparently isn't as effective.

I hate the medical profession monopoly! Why should a tube of cream be prescription-only. One steroid is, one isn't. ANd a lot more 'dangerous' things than Betnovate. Let's see- I buy Nair hair remover that will literally eat your skin off! Rogain was originally a prescription heart medication. Aspirin kills people every year.

On the lovely subject of farm animal genitalia, they use a strong rubber band (Industrial Stretch Magic!) to castrate sheep! Just snap the band over their ball-sac and they whither up and die in a few days.

On that note, time for bed! I'll be counting ball-less sheep! :-)
