You can use them for more than a week but I wouldn't use them for more than a month at a time with a months rest before starting again if you need to use them more.The side effects from long term use can be a thining of the skin which can cause easy ripping of the skin which could lead to an indfected wound.Also you could develop a roundness to your face.This link will tell you more.
