Subject: Here's an off-topic question for you. Has anyone here been to Georgia? AllyG, I think you may live there? I'm going in March to

a wedding in Dallas, Georgia and everyone is staying in nearby
Helen, Georgia. I've never been to the state at all and we're curious about traffic, the Atlanta airport, weather, etc. I believe we'll have a close to 90 mile drive from the Atlanta airport to our destination.

By the airport the traffic is awful and crazy. They have a spaghetti junction were all these roads/bridges go over each other. Once you get out of downtown it gets better. The airport is huge. What made me nervous is you have to ride the tram.

If you get free time go the the Aquarium! It’s so cool. I would go there again if I could.

Have fun! I always loved my visits down there.

Nat lived in Lawrenceville. You are going further up north. Hopefully Ally has some advice. I will ask my sister about the area too.

got a job there. They were living in Utah before. From what I can tell, Helen is described as an Alpine-like town. It gets crowded in the summer, but the wedding being in March it may not be too crowded. I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Lived in Salt Lake City! G and I got to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. She will love Georgia. I liked the climate there and people are nice.

still trying to figure out what to wear to the wedding because I'm not sure about the weather there in March. I know the place they are getting married is near Chattahoochee Forest and Chattahoochee River. It should be really pretty, but hopefully, not too cold!

It’s probably like sweatshirt, hoodie weather. Take a light jacket for sure.
