categories used to be on the main Emmy show, but the show just gets too long. The creative arts categories still exist so they do it a separate night. Usually, several of the recipients of the creative arts categories are presenters at the main Sunday event. I sure hope Jamie Lee Curtis is there. She really deserved this award!
