They have fun skewering, Grease II, Jaws II, Exorcist II, Speed II and worst of all, Exorcist II. Even when some or all of the original stars returned, these all bombed and even damaged reputations. In a time when remakes seem de rigueur, film makers might want to think twice and maybe make something original instead of milking past glories? just saying.
