I always KNEW he was a winner! Awesome live performance at the Oscars too. Yay for Jesse Buckley, she was perfection.

Sean Penn didn't even show up, he never does. I hated that movie anyway.

[> [> One Battle was my fave of the year, so I'm glad it won. I also loved Sinners. And it -- LAwoman, 10:46:20 03/16/26 Mon [1]

great that Sentimental Value won international. Jessie Buckley was great. The opening with Weapons' "Gladys" being chased by kids through other movies was awesome (also happy for Amy Madigan) and the closing with Conan in the Sean Penn role from One Battle was creepy fun too.

I haven't seen Weapons, so I didn't get the kids chasing Conan joke, lol. Maybe I will give One Battle another try when it comes to Netflix. Maybe I just didn't get it either. I'm still wanting to see Anora again but all the services are still charging for it, for heavens sake!

was pretty scary for an old lady LOL! I forgot she was married to Ed Harris.
