Date Posted: 10:29:39 01/10/06 Tue Hey Lainey, I just read about you in the Acadiana Lifestyle magazine, and like everyone else, I wanted to say that I think what you have done is great! Not only for serving in the Guard, but for putting forth the extra effort to give families at home a chance to see their soldiers "in action." My husband was in the Guard, and he had just finished serving when his unit (New Iberia) was called up, and of course a part of him felt guilty for not being with those men and women. However, we kept all of you in our prayers. And if he were there with the rest of the 256th in Iraq, I know I would have appreciated every single picture you posted!! Also, I noticed a picture of you and a guy named Aaron Duplantis, so I was just wondering if you knew him. He's actually my cousin. And your name and picture are looking very familiar...were you in the 2001 Rotary Ball??? I was, so if you were maybe that's where I know you from. Good luck with everything!
