I wouldn't really say that joining the guard is negative. It sucks at first when you go away to boot camp and have to be away from your family and friends. You soon realize that you are the one who has the strength to go through this and that makes everyone back home proud of the person that you have become. If you run track, you should have no problems with the physical part of the training. The training will mainly consist of people trying to play mind games with you, in turn, making you stronger physically and mentally. Once you get into the groove of things, all challenges big and small will seem very easy to overcome. As for the surgeries and all, that will need to be discussed with your recruiter. If you are good to go, then good luck. Let me know how everything works out. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
