I couldn't wait!! I have to wait to hear the entire song before I make up my mind but my first thought was "classic Dan". I also had a tear (or 2) while listening and also think the notes will be emotional. So happy to have something new that I think it will all balance out in the end.

It would be so hard to wait, but I did think about it. This CD is just so special, I would've liked to be able to go buy it on the 13th, with no knowledge of any of the songs, and just listen all the way through for the first time. If it was still being released on schedule, it could've worked out that way. It would've been easier to resist going to Amazon for the clips.......maybe. Ahhhh, but no matter. I'm loving these little 30-second gems, and we still have a lot to look forward to.

I'm totally with Bianca on "Birds". Such an awesome version. That chorus really tugs at the heart, especially with Dan's beautifully layered vocals. And I've gotten really attached to "Come to the Harbor". The guitar on that is so classic Dan. I like "Days to Come" too. It's got that great rhythm that gets you movin' and makes you smile. But every song on this sounds good to me.

Man, there's nothing like new Dan music, or old Dan music for that matter, to perk up a day.....or a week, or a month, or a year....ok, a lifetime!
