Where IS her house, Terra? When I was in Santa Fe two years ago, I didn't think to try to find it (drat!).

I think she also had a house in Santa Fe, but the one that I always see is in Abiquiu, north of Santa Fe and Espanola. Abiquiu is very small, but as you're driving along you can see her house sitting up on a bluff on the west side of the highway. I'm told that there are occasional tours, and I'd love to see it up close but never have...maybe one of these days. If you're ever in that area just ask one of the locals, they'll point it out to you (that's how I finally found out which one it was). I found a photo on someone's blog...it looks like it was shot from the road. It's not great, but you can tell that it's close to the highway

Hey, Terra, thanks for the info and the link!

Like you, maybe one of these days I'll get back out there and have a chance to see it.

In the meantime, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.

Terra,

Thanks for sharing the blog link! That guy has fantastic photos! There must be hundreds and hundreds......beautiful close-ups of all kinds of birds, many I've never seen before or even heard of. Love the shots of the big birds in flight - eagles, hawks, ravens, and others - plus the other wildlife and gorgeous landscapes. I spent close to an hour at his site and haven't seen it all yet. I see he also has a separate birding site where he's labeled and categorized all the birds he's photographed, which is very cool and a handy site to refer to.

So thanks again. I had a great time at that blog.

Kelly
