You should not have problem with the car knotching the frame rails and running the 295's is great thing to do on the monte, is the rear end the stock width? Check out the pictures of Mike Kurtz' Monte SS on the OUTLAWRADIAL.NET website to see how he reinforced his frame rail from the backside.
