This was taken from another message board this morning:

"My daughter calls every couple hours to update us.....The last i spoke with her they don't expect Cory to walk again and they where going to do surgery to fuse the broken vertebra's in his back together."

The person writing this message is Corey's girlfriends father...He has also been emailing me the same information.

This is so tragic and very-very sad!

I can only hope that the surgery can help Corey to regain the use of his legs and arms.

I am very heartbroken by all this news...Very scary to know that it could happen to any of us at any time!

Please keep Corey and his parents in your prayers

The racing community is a big family and we all need to be there for the Jalbert family.

I will pass along information as it becomes available! I only pray that it will be GOOD news!!!!
