"Just got of phone with my daughter (Cory's Girlfriend) they are hoping to do surgery later today or tomorrow to fix the broken vertebrate in his mid back he can now move his arms a bit as well they still don't expect him to walk again. He does feel some sensation in his feet and stomach.

HE is alert and knows everyone and surrounded by his family and girlfriend at this time.

This is a shock to the racing world in our area I know now so far this morning the reality of this tragic crash is being felt all around by people who know them or has raced against him or his parents. as well as there fans.

I have forwarded alot of your thoughts to the family at this time and will continue to update when I know more.

I for one thank you all for your support and prayers to the Jalbert family and my daughter." - Stuart
