I understand about things being so busy. My grandmother Rai passed away upon my return. She left me a bit of money, which I am saving so that I can buy a house on your beautiful island. Avery and his fiance are getting married this afternoon, Adrienne is moving out-so I'm helping her pack-she has plans to move downtown so she's looking for roommates. She didn't make the cut for the band-her talent isn't what they're looking for (I could have told her that)-she wants to start her own grunge band, not sure if there's an audience for horrible musicians, but if there is-then she should be fine.

Mom and dad are contemplating thier future-now that they're elders and mom's retired and Avery's getting married and Adrienne seems to have found a calling-of some sort-and I...well, you know what I'm up to-they want to step back. They're entertaining an offer to become managers of the boarding house-mom would cook and clean, dad would repair and garden-in return they would stay for free. That would be weird.
