Subject: Favorite Christmas Music

I was just wondering if any of the folks here would like to mention some of their favorite Christmas CDs or even individual songs. Here are some of my favorites: Amy Grant (Home for Christmas), Henry Mancini (A Merry Mancini Christmas), Gloria Estefan (Christmas Through Your Eyes), Andy Williams (Personal Christmas Collection), and Living Voices (The Little Drummer Boy). I listen exclusively to Christmas music from Thanksgiving until New Year's, and I am always interested in hearing what others' favorites are, in case I want to add to my collection.

[> I've been listening to Martina McBride, N'Sync, and Christina Aguilera's Christmas albums. I also love Faith Hill's song from The Grinch - Where are You Christmas. -- Josh, 10:24:33 12/07/07 Fri [1]

[> I like to rock it up a bit at Christmas. Anything by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is always good; "Merry Axemas: A Guitar Christmas," and its follow-up; the Brian Setzer Orchestra; and then classics like the "Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack. -- Dax, 12:15:04 12/07/07 Fri [1]

[> I just went to the amazing holiday concert at the school I work at (620 person finale!), so I'm in the spirit. Lots of good songs already listed. I really want to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in concert. I like Kenny G's Miracles album and George Winston's December. Still a sucker for the boyband harmonies and love "I Don't Want to Spend One More Xmas w/o You." Elliott Yamin's Sounds of the Season album has surprised me, too. -- Janelle, 21:43:04 12/09/07 Sun [1]

[> [> Thought of another great song. Wheat (feat. Liz Phair) - "Baby It's Cold Outside." Every time they play it on the radio, the station gets a bunch of calls asking where they can purchase the song. Guess it's almost impossible to find, but a Google search turned up a nice result ;) -- Janelle, 19:43:14 12/16/07 Sun [1]

[> Thanks, everyone, for the replies. I thought I would mention a few of my favorite holiday songs/artists. I like many versions of Carol of the Bells, especially John Tesh's, David Fosters, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra's (Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24). I also like Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Canon, Andy Williams' Happy Holidays/Holiday Season, Alabama's Christmas in Dixie, SheDaisy's Jingle Bells, Gloria Estefan's Let it Snow, MercyMe's (with Amy Grant) Silent Night, and Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride, just to name a few. -- Jules, 17:13:52 12/18/07 Tue [1]
