He muttered wryly but couldn't help another soft laugh and a shake of his head - though he did like knowing that she was putting so much effort in to looking good for him, even if he thought she looked good no matter what she was wearing or how her hair was done. A small smirk touched his lip as he listened to Jackie's long-winded explanation, and then he nodded a little. "Sure babe. We've got time..." He assured the girl and then looked to Joey again with a cocked brow. "'A little burnt'? Oh the sacrifices they make for each other."

His eyes had turned to the television for a moment before he he heard a rustling at the top of the stairs and looked up to see Cam. She was beyond nervous, she had butterflies in her stomach and her hands were almost shaking - not just from seeing him but over the fact that she didn't want to do anything to embarass him or anything like that.
