She smiled in her usual sweet manner as she held out a hand. "It's nice to meet you..." She'd heard a lot about the girl and about Derek, how hard it had been for Rio to get over his death and all that. She saw the way Nina was looking suspiciously at Rio and Kabri though and she had learned enough in her time in DH and afterwards that this girl was some competition. Her confidence wasn't high enough to be sure she would keep Rio's attention and her blue eyes faltered a little bit when she gazed back at him. "You guys should catch up...I think I am going to go start dinner." What a meek little thing this Jackie was! She couldn't help the way a smile crossed her face, though thankfully it came off as friendly instead of already victorious. "Nice to meet you too sweetheart." She stated with a smile before she turned her attention back to Rio. "Shoulda known I couldn't stay away from you too long baby boy, we were just meant to be side by side!" She grinned lightly, tipping her head and shrugging her shoulders. "All those tricks you taught me kept me out of jail up till now but I was starting to cut it a bit close...figured I would head out this way for awhile...hang with you."

His brown eyes lingered on Jackie a moment as she wandered away to make dinner, turning his gaze back to Kabri with a smirk "You're welcome to stay sweetheart but its not the easy life... we work and we try and keep things more towards legal than not..." He winked and flashed her a grin "We try and keep a low profile y'know?" He ran a hand over his head absently, cocking a brow "So had Nina shown you round? Got you a room?" He wasn;t sure how this would go- but right now he was too pleased to see her still in one peice to worry about anything else right now- he;d talk to Jackie about it later.
