Subject: She didn't melt into his hug, didn't even really relax enough to return it. He had hurt her feelings and while she was a mature girl at most times, she still didn't deal with rejection well. Drawing back from his embrace, she ran her hands over her face one more time to erase any sign of the tears before she cleared her throat. "I don't really have anywhere else to go right now...so I guess you are stuck with me." She murmured, putting her bag back down onto the bed. "I'll...I'll just settle in and then go see about getting a 'legitmate' job..."

  • Rio watched her a moment before nodding a touch and releasing her as she drew back "Take your time... you should come down and meet everyone when you're settled- the bathrooms just down the hall on the right." He left her too it then, heading for the bathroom himself and locking the door after him, stripping off and jumping intot he shower for a much needed wash- cleaning away all the dirt and dust amd grime.
