She had watched him get the bottle ready and when he disappeared up to the stairs she was a little surprised to feel the sharp hint of tears behind her eyes. He would have been good with a baby, she knew it. Her lip tugged between her teeth and her brow furrowed just a little before she gained control of herself again and worked on making him a generous plate of pancakes and syrup along with two eggs. She got him a glass of orange juice and placed it by his meal before she finally sat down with her own and started eating. All she needed to do was go get dressed and she would be set to go..
