Subject: She heard him coming down the stairs and knew without looking that it was him, but she did glance back and up when he spoke, pausing a moment before nodding ever-so-slightly with an attempted smile. "Yeah, sure... Haven't had dinner yet." She had no idea how to talk to him either because she was still struggling with why he would even want to talk to her after everything that had happened between them. Inhaling a slow, calming breath, she flipped off the television and pushed herself off the couch to stand, padding softly after him into the kitchen. "Want me to make you a sandwich too?"

  • "Yeah, sure...." he muttered quietly, sneaking a peak at her over his shoulder before he focused on the cabinet with the non-perishables in it. His eyes moved across the cans of campbells before he settled on a can of chunky chicken noodle and headed for the drawer with the can opener. "Good day?" Silly question, for him at least, she may have just figured last night was a night like anyone else, hell, she may not even remember it. (NT) -- Kaden, 21:26:12 07/14/05 Thu
