He frowned a little, looking at her face and then the hint of bruises revealed by her sweater sleeves moving up a touch. "You hungry? I'll make you something..." He just wanted to make her happy and comfortable, he didn't want to have to worry about her not eating on top of everything else.

Anything easy..." Arms crossing slowly under her chest, she leaned back against the counter and watched him.
