Though she had been there for some time already, she came and went quietly and at odd hours - she wanted to get herself aquainted with her new home and the surroundings before lending her attention to much else. Seeing most of the lights off in the house, she found it safe to assume that there wouldn't be much going on - everyone was either out or sleeping - and so she slipped in the front door silently and padded barefoot into the kitchen. It wasn't that she was an anti-social person - quite the opposite, really - but she was just being cautious, and was still a little apprehensive about all this: if it felt too good to be true, it usually was. In the dim light of the kitchen, she quietly rifled through the fridge to drag out the ingredients to make herself a sandwich, starving from her day of doing nothing, and she wasn't working that night, so all was well. The jeans that she wore were faded to a soft blue and hung low on her slender hips, her sheer tank top was a pale pink and fitted well, and she had draped a grey zip-up hoodie over the back of one of the chairs...
