She was almost making herself sick, the way she was talking to him - this wasn't her at all. She looked up, meeting his eyes for a moment - she was, to say the least, a little surprised that he still didn't recognize her but she had no idea - a lot of time had passed since they had seen one another, since they had been children - a lot of miles and a lot of stuff could have happened between then and now that would make him the same as her - blanking out the white.
