Subject: She closed her eyes softly as she leant back against him, swallowing softly as she listened to his words. She wasn;t used to guys talking to her like this... most of the time they were doing everything they could to convince her to let them get her into bed. But there was a barrier there- something that stopped her from actually believing what he said... what was the word? Cynicism. As much as he said that she knew he wasn;t gonna be the one willing to treat her better, just like no one else would.

  • He wasn't saying he was going to be the one to save her from all her hurts and pains or anything like that, hell, he probably couldn't even save her from herself. He just wanted her to be a little more selective with who she jumped in bed with. His hands still moved soothingly over her stomach, content to just hold her for a minute - he had a feeling she didn't get that very often, the aspect of just being held for the sake of being held.
