The window painting was for Halloween- I remember one BIG rule was that you couldn't use black paint because the sun would concentrate on the black and crack the windows?!?!? Painting those windows is a wonderful memory for me- I did it every year with my best friend - I don't even remember if we won or not (probably not!)- I just remember the fun- my mom would bring us sodas and snacks thruout the day. We would plan out the picture for weeks in advance and try to come up with catchy sayings. Do they still do that? The weekend ended with the Rag-a-Muffin parade for the little kids.
