 As I watched the PBS Doo Wop Love Songs show last night, I realized that only a part of me was enjoying the music. The other part of me was walking home down White Plains Rd. after school, sitting at the counter at Big Top, riding to Playland in Paul Stempel's VW Beetle, and breathing in the overwhelming smell of chlorine at Wilson's Pool in Mt. Vernon...
